New magazine on Lifelong Learning by EUCIS-LLL

The first item of the LLL Mag, which should be published twice a year, has been released in june. The first edition encompasses many complex processes and gives an idea of the diversity of learning settings in Europe. After the public hearing EUCIS-LLL organised in December 2011 on validation, the magazine aims at providing key data, examples of countries' profiles, interviews of experts and learners to give an insight of the recent European developments.

Enhancing basic skills in Europe

Coordinated by the Norwegian Agency for Lifelong Learning (VOX), the European Basic Skills Network (ESBN) came together in its 2012 annual conference, hosted by the Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic from 30 May to 1 June in Prague, with the main aim of EBSN to exchange good practice and to support the European Commission's "Renewed Agenda for Adult Learning".


20th anniversary of Slovenian Institute for Adult Education

The first item of the LLL Mag has been released. The magazine should be published twice a year and tackle hot topics of the moment in the field of lifelong learning.


Third annual ECVET Forum
07 June 2012

About 230 policy makers, training providers, and social partners took part at the third annual forum, held on 31 May – 1 June in Brussels and co-organised by the European Commission and Cedefop with the support of the ECVET (European centre for the development of vocational training) team. One of the main topics was the implementation of the European Credit system for Vocational Education and Training which Member States will start this year. The system allows all vocational students to have their learning recognised across the European Union. The Forum was conceived as a community of practice and provided opportunity to exchange on the roles and resources of the system's stakeholders and discuss the challenges related to ECVET implementation.
